The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia received a delegation led by the President of the Mexico-Armenia Friendship Group

On January 21, Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, received the delegation led by the Chair of the Mexico-Armenia Friendship Group of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico, Silvia Patricia Jimenez Delgado.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia reaffirmed Armenia's interest in deepening relations with Mexico. Views were exchanged on the prospects for developing political dialogue, economic, cultural, educational ties, inter-parliamentary collaboration, and cooperation in other areas between Armenia and Mexico.

International and regional issues were also touched upon. Deputy Foreign Minister Kostanyan briefed the interlocutors on the recent developments in the South Caucasus, the priorities of Armenia's foreign policy in the context of established peace in the region, as well as the new economic opportunities anticipated as a result of the implementation of programs aimed at enhancing regional connectivity.
